RACE UPDATE

REGISTRATIONS


  • Registrations will only be accepted online by noon 15th July 2021

  • No registrations will be accepted on race day

  • Riders who haven’t effected payment must provide funds in the correct amount in order to avoid contact.


START / FINISH:


  • The race's start and finish will be in Majjistral Park. NO cars are allowed in the park

  • Spectators are not allowed

  • First start will be given at 5.30 p.m. with the Elite category

  • Riders will start in waves of 4 separated by 3 meters. Categories will be given the start in 2 minute intervals.


ELECTRONIC TIMING:


  • Riders who took part in the MMBA XC 2020 National Points Series must use the same race number for the Summer Cup 2021.

  • Those who did not compete in last season’s race calendar and signed up online, can collect it on the day, between 4.30 and 5.00 p.m.


SAFETY PROTOCOLS:


  • Riders are to ensure that they will have their temperature and other information taken before entering the race restricted area.

  • Riders have to keep their face masks on until they are called to the start of the race.

  • As soon as the race is finished, a mask must be worn.

  • No hydration or nutrition will be available. Riders have to provide their own.


POST-RACE:


  • Riders are to leave the area as soon as they finish their respective race.



The organisers urge all participants to abide by these rules at all times.
